Quabbin Town Residents Get Ready to Vote Early
Along
with Other Voters in the U.S.A.
Eligible voters in Massachusetts may vote early starting on Saturday, October 17th. Some towns posted their hours for early voting and all will be on the state website at https://www.sec.state.ma.us/divisions/elections/voting-information/vote-early.htm. See QR Code below. Millions of voters casting their ballots early will help "ensure a free and fair election in November. Day 1 is best for all forms of voting -- in person, using drop box for mail in ballots." And No Kings Vote Early states: "Early voting is our first line of defense. By banking
votes early on, we can identify problems while there’s still time to fix them,
turn the election into a season of voting rather than a single day that’s
vulnerable to attacks, and out-organize the regime’s voter suppression
tactics."
Orange - 8 AM-2 PM on Sat., Oct. 17th plus other times for 2 weeks
Erving - 8 AM - 12 PM on Oct. 17th and Oct. 24th
Wendell -- 9 AM - 2 PM on Sat., Oct. 17th
Royalston -- 9 AM - 1 PM on Sun., Oct. 18th in So. Royalston at Town Clerk's office
For the towns of New Salem, Warwick, Petersham, and Phillipston check the Secretary of State's website on Oct. 9th. If not there yet check on Oct. 10th. Click on https://www.sec.state.ma.us/divisions/elections/voting-information/vote-early.htm. This is a very helpful site for voters. QR Code for Sec. of State website.
Spread the word about early voting and watch for other things to do such as giving rides to the polls or drop boxes for mail-in or early voting at designated locations in towns and helping in some areas with voter protection.

Volunteers are needed for a weekly table outside of Market Basket in Athol. We also hope to arrange other opportunities to hold voter registration in the North Quabbin area over the next several weeks.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Ruth S., chair of the Voting Team, at IndivisibleNorthQuabbin@gmail. org.
Debbie B. is now coordinating the voter registration events and will be in touch with volunteers. Heartfelt thanks to Amy F., who coordinated the VR events over the summer and kept up the momentum.
