Join Us Sept. 12th and Sept. 19th to Plan for the Next No Kings

Join us for the No Kings Kick Off call on Sept. 10th at 8 p.m. at this link:  https://indivisible.org/events/no-kings-vote-early-kickoff-call/

Indivisible North Quabbin is beginning to plan for the October 17th National Day of Action. It is only 6 weeks away. We need people to help plan the event.  We will begin meeting to plan and discuss what we can do for Oct. 17 at meetings on Saturdays at 9:30 on Sept. 12th and Sept. 19th.  These meetings will be at the 1st Universalist Church at 31 No. Main St. in Orange.

Joining the event planning group does not mean you have to join the Steering Committee. Once the October 17th Planning Group is set up, they may want to meet at other times to work on the details.

Making a Plan for Early Voting in N. Quabbin towns:  You can help now by finding out when early voting is in your town so we can compile a list for area residents.  Early voting for November 3rd begins in Massachusetts on Sat., October 17th.  Please email indivisiblenorthquabbin@gmail.com with the information for your town.

Residents are Invited to a Community Conversation with Sen. Comerford on Sept. 24th in Orange

This Community Conversation with Sen. Comerford is from 6:30-8:00 on Thursday, Sept. 24th at Fisher Hill School in the Media Center. The school is at 59 Dexter St. in Orange. The event is open to the public.

The Indivisible North Quabbin Steering Committee invites you to take part in an open & meaningful conversation with our Massachusetts State Senator Jo Comerford.  Sen. Comerford will cover topics that affect many people in her district.  These may include an overview of State vs. Federal tax dollars that relate to protecting food security, affordable and accessible healthcare, education funding, climate change and safeguarding our democracy.

Please invite neighbors and friends to this important community conversation.  See the flyer below to share with others. If you have questions about accessibility or other questions email: indivisiblenorthquabbin@gmail.com.

People interested in Election Protection can use the link below to learn about training and participating in Voter Protection during the November 3rd Election.  You can sign up at
https://protectthevote.net/?source=ACLUM.
Common Cause and ACLU MA are part of a coalition of groups working on voter protection.
The national, nonpartisan Election Protection coalition works so all voters have an equal opportunity to participate in the political process. The coalition is made up of more than 100 local, state and national partners. There may be places in Massachusetts or other New England states where there will be a need for poll monitors for November 3rd.

Phone Banking: There will also be opportunities for phone banking starting sometime in October.  Watch for more information from the Indivisible No. Quabbin Voting Team along with other activities as we move closer to Election Day.
