There was a good community-building feeling to the event with popcorn, children's games, voter registration and voting information. Thank you to everyone who helped make Oct. 17 a success.
What Next? Be Alert and Watch for Emails for Rapid Response for Mass Mobilizations to Protect all Votes
Voting Ambassadors for Oct. 17th walked through the crowd to pass out a list of early voting dates in each of the nine North Quabbin towns, and they also signed people up on a rapid response list to be notified in case the national Indivisible and No Kings Coalition calls for a mass mobilization between Nov. 3 and Jan. 3 in case of election obstruction. For this information go to https://www. indivisiblenorthquabbin.com/p/ news.html.
The work of the Voting Team was a culmination of a year's work. Three subcommittees had meetings since the summer of 2025. The postcard subcommittee distributed 4,000 postcards which committee members sent to Georgia, resulting in 800 newly registered Democrats. The voter suppression subcommittee published an op ed in the local papers on "Too Big to Rig". The voter registration subcommittee registered voters at a local supermarket, the community college, a local library and senior center.
