Comerford on Thursday, September 24th at Fisher Hill School Indivisible North Quabbin invites you to join us for a Community Conversation on Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 6:30-8:00 PM.  State Senator Jo Comerford will be the featured speaker.  Sen. Comerford's district covers Franklin, Hampshire and parts of Worcester County. Sen. Comerford will talk about issues that affect the residents of this area. Please come, listen and learn.  A time for questions will follow Sen. Comerford's presentation.  This event is at Fisher Hill School (Media Center) at 59 Dexter St. in Orange.  See the flyer to share with others. It is only 6 weeks away. We need people to help plan the event.  We will begin meeting to plan and discuss what we can do for Oct. 17 at meetings on Saturdays at 9:30 on Sept. 12th and Sept. 19th.   These meetings will be at the 1st Universalist Church at 31 No. Main St. in Orange.   Joining the event planning group does not mean you have to join the Steering Committee. Join the Indivisible No. Quabbin Gathering at 11:45 this Saturday (8/29) in the Park to discuss Indivisible and No Kings Strategies for Early Voting and large events. Main St.) for film and discussion. Senior students at Four Rivers Charter Public School filmed and produced this documentary as part of their Senior Project. A member of this team of students will join us for the film and discussion. Through the experiences of immigrants, activists, lawyers, and politicians, this 52 minute documentary explores the policies and enforcement of immigration, as well as its historical context. This film centers the experiences of immigrants under the presence of ICE with a focus on New England. "Living Through Fear" highlights the strength and actions of those fighting for immigrants' rights, finding hope inside a world of fear according to information of the school website.
